The members of the Rio Brazos Audubon Society would like to express our appreciation to the Audubon Foundation for the grant of $850.  In spite of our unusually cold and wet winter, our chimney swift tower and information kiosk project, is now completed.  The final cost of the project was $850.37.  All the work was done by RBAS members.

Our board has agreed to fund the landscaping part of the project.  The landscaping committee has created a plan to install a butterfly/hummingbird garden and ADA approved pathways around the kiosk.  They are working with the College Station Parks Department to finalize the details.  We hope to begin installing edging, preparing the soil and planting native plants soon.  We will send pictures when this phase is completed and, again, a year from now.
